The Shared Resource Service (SRS) stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in public service delivery. Established as a partnership across South Wales, the SRS has evolved into a dynamic and modern shared service, continually adapting to meet the changing needs and rising expectations of our communities and stakeholders. 

Our journey has been shaped by landmark projects such as the major data centre migrations, shared customer contact centres, working across the region on social care solutions and shared data platforms. These initiatives, among many others, highlight the transformative impact that collective action and resource optimisation can achieve. Through these efforts, the SRS has demonstrated how working together enables us to deliver more resilient, efficient, and responsive services for the benefit of all. 

Looking ahead, the SRS is committed to building on these foundations. We are exploring new opportunities to support our partner organisations—not just in technology, but also in digital, data, information governance, and information security. Our culture of collaboration and strong delivery gives us confidence in our ability to grow, adapt, and deliver additional services that meet the unique needs of each partner, while respecting their independence and identity.
